The two structures of CA and CC spherical roller bearings are mainly distinguished by whether the inner ring of the bearing has a flange, and whether the cage is a machined solid or a stamped frame. The two cannot be used interchangeably.
1. Different structures
CA type: integral brass machined cage, no intermediate flange on the inner ring, two small flanges on the end face, and symmetrical rollers.

CC type: symmetrical rollers, no end stop on the inner ring, and no end stop. The cage is divided into two parts. This material is a pressed steel frame cage. A movable ring is designed between the rollers, which can effectively reduce the internal friction of the bearing, effectively assist the rollers in the non-stressed area to correctly enter the load-bearing area, and increase the limit speed of the bearing.

2. Different internal space
CA type adopts low noise and has a certain self-lubricating function. The rollers occupy a small space, which limits the outer size and number of the roller body, so that its load-bearing capacity is limited, and the cage has its own movable guide ring. Compared with the CA type of the same specification, the CC type has a larger internal space, and the load can be increased by increasing the number of rollers.
3. Different axial load capacity
In terms of application occasions, since the cage of CA structure occupies a large internal space under the condition of limited bearing size, it limits the size and number of rolling elements to a certain extent, thereby reducing the ability of the bearing to further improve the radial load capacity. Under heavy load and high speed conditions, CC structure should be used more. For example, some use environments are high temperature environments and CC type must be used.
